SKYNET Part 3: “…try not to build anything that actively kills people…”

Scientist warns humanity to prepare for the rise of robots:

Robots to raise your child:

Robot population “booming” worldwide:

Robots will be measure of the gulf between the “haves” and “have nots” of the future:

But the GOOD news is that when they finally do wake up, they’ll have the technology to be invisible (and borderline invincible as well):

And, you know this doesn’t weird me out at all either:

Don’t worry Eben, When the time comes I think you’ll be able to fit right in.

    Eben,
You’ve spoken about the concept you learned known as the “Intelligence Worker.” As our world evolves and more people learn to shed their scarcity thoughts and embrace the notion of true and absolute abundance, I believe the concept of money will eventually be unnecessary. However separations will still exist between ‘classes’ -whatever these may be. Isn’t it possible that the divide between the “haves” and the “have nots” will eventually evolved to be based on intelligence?

To return the favor, leaving you a link to something you will greatly enjoy reading. I promise you’ll get a kick out of it. You and this guy are the only two blogs I read fanatically.

They did an episode of “That’s impossible” right on this topic recently, and it was damn scary (as the whole orientation of that show actually).

On the bright side of robots though, found a cool one that actually… serves beer!
